Join us as James D. Frost, author of the Merchant Princes: Halifax's First Family of Finance, Ships and Steel (2003) tells us about the story of William Stairs and his descendants.  The Stairs family has played an important role in Nova Scotia’s business and political history. 

About James D. Frost: President of MariNova Consulting Limited, he has an advanced background in the field of marketing and business development.  A graduate of McGill, Queen’s University and Saint Mary’s University, James has written many articles and is the author of Merchant Princes: Halifax's First Family of Finance, Ships and Steel (2003) and Canada's Atlantic Gateway: An Illustrated History of the Port of Halifax (2008).

Following the lecture, the Executive will hold our Annual General Meeting and all are welcome to participate.
